Why warehouses suit solar
Distribution centres tend to run their biggest loads during daylight hours — forklift charging, refrigeration, lighting, conveyors, compressed air and office HVAC. That means a lot of the energy your solar generates gets used on site rather than exported, which is usually where the value sits.

Tackling demand charges, not just usage
For many commercial sites, the bill isn't only about how much energy you use — it's the demand charge tied to your peak draw. Warehouses with simultaneous forklift charging, refrigeration and machinery can spike hard at the wrong moments.
