This 600kW rooftop system spans a major industrial facility in Blayney, in the NSW Central West — a standard commercial-scale project for the ATI team, which delivers systems up to MW scale. Panels run the full length of the building's parallel roof sections, a large, unbroken generating surface feeding a business with a heavy daytime load.
At this scale, the aim is simple: generate as much of the site's daytime electricity on-site as possible, so the operation leans on the grid far less during its busiest, most expensive hours. A system this size also helps flatten the demand peaks that drive a big slice of a commercial power bill.
Like every ATI project, it was designed and installed by our own in-house team — no subcontractors — and delivered to CEC and SAA accreditation standards, from roof assessment and engineering through to commissioning.
Figures are indicative estimates only — based on roughly 1,400 kWh per kW each year for inland NSW and typical commercial grid electricity rates. Actual generation and savings depend on the site's load profile, tariff and how much of the energy is used on-site, and are confirmed by a formal site review.
